• Information Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia has issued a Decision allowing the Bank to seek remedies against the verdict in the Jušte Puharić case

With regard to the litigation proceeding against Hrvatska poštanska banka, plc., Zagreb, Jurišićeva 4 (hereinafter: the Bank) by Mr. Jušte Puharić, the Bank submits new information in order to transparently inform the investment public and to eliminate possible incomplete and inaccurate information and interpretations in the media.

Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia issued a decision allowing the Bank to seek remedies against the verdict. The Bank received this decision on November 30 2021. Previously, the Municipal Civil Court in Zagreb issued a non-final decision postponing the issuance of orders to banks to transfer allocated funds in the process of collection to the plaintiff until the decision on the remedy is reached.

Bank's business operation has been stable, while also achieving exceptionally good results in all of its business segments. Even though the Bank believes in the successful final outcome regarding the remedy in this dispute, financial effects arising from the final court verdict have been properly recognized in the financial statements in the full amount that was awarded to the plaintiff, in line with applicable regulation prescribing the obligatory provisioning.

The Bank will inform the investment public in a timely manner about further relevant events.
