Telefónica Deutschland updates O 2 Free tariff portfolio with ‘Boost’ option and launches O 2 hub ‘Connect’

Telefónica Deutschland enters the next stage of our mobile freedom campaign, maintaining our focus on stimulating profitable data growth amongst new and existing customers.

As of 5 June 2018, the updated O 2 Free portfolio will consist of three tariffs with unlimited voice and SMS plus a 3G flat after consumption of the high-speed data volumes included:

– The O 2 Free S with 1 GB of data at EUR 19.99 per month and the flagship tariff O 2 Free M with 10 GB of data at EUR 29.99 per month remain unchanged

– The data volume of the new O 2 Free L will be increased from 20 GB to 30 GB with an unchanged price point of EUR 39.99 per month

With the O 2 Free Boost option, customers in the O 2 Free M and L tariffs can double their included high-speed data volumes for just EUR 5.00 per month. O 2 Free Boost supports our APRU-up strategy and offers the option of attractive carefree packages in an affordable price range for all customers who are increasingly embracing digital life by using more connected devices such as wearables and intelligent sensors as supplements to their smartphones.

We are also now launching the O 2 hub in the form of our O 2 Free Connect solution, which combines up to 10 devices under one mobile contract at no extra costs; all associated SIM cards share the high-speed data volume of the selected O 2 Free tariff. O 2 Free Connect includes two additional multi-cards with voice and SMS flat as well as up to seven pure data cards for smart devices. Smart devices are activated and centrally managed via the My O2 app , enabling our customers to comfortably keep track of their products and services, while enjoying the freedom the latter afford them.
