New Remuneration and Nomination Committee Chair

The Board of Aquila European Renewables plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Dr Patricia Rodrigues, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, will replace Kenneth MacRitchie as Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee with immediate effect. Dr Rodrigues' appointment is part of the Board's ongoing commitment to ensure that the Board maintains suitable diversity and representation.

Mr Kenneth MacRitchie will remain a member of the Board.  The Board wish to thank Mr MacRitchie for his hard work and contribution whilst acting as the Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee and welcome his continued support.
