Deutsche Konsum REIT acquires two additional properties for EUR 12 million

Broderstorf, 16 August 2018 – Deutsche Konsum REIT-AG (ISIN DE000A14KRD3) has acquired two more high-yield properties with notarisations yesterday.

The first property is a “toom” DIY store in Frankfurt/Oder (Brandenburg) with a total rental space of around 12,000 m² and a WALT of more than seven years left.

Furthermore, a combined furnishing retail and multiplex cinema centre has been acquired in Schwedt (Brandenburg). Main tenants are Möbel Roller as well as a city-owned company, which is also the operator of this sole cinema in the city of Schwedt. The property has a WALT of more than seven years.

Both properties are fully let and generate an annual rent of more than EUR 1.2 million. The benefits and encumbrances of the properties are expected in October 2018.

Thus, the current overall portfolio of Deutsche Konsum (pro forma) comprises 96 retail properties with an annualised rent of around EUR 37.2 million. Moreover DKR is in concrete acquisition processes for further acquisitions.
