CAPRICORN ENERGY PLC ("Capricorn")

Publication of Prospectus and Notice of General Meeting

CAPRICORN ENERGY PLC (LON: CNE) is pleased to confirm that the Financial Conduct Authority (the "FCA") has today approved Capricorn's combined prospectus and shareholder circular (the "Combined Document") in relation to its proposed combination with NewMed Energy Limited Partnership ("NewMed") (TLV: NWMD) (the "Combination"). The Combined Document will be sent or made available to Capricorn's shareholders shortly.

The Combined Document contains further information on the Combination and a notice convening a general meeting of Capricorn's shareholders at The Sheraton Grand Hotel, 1 Festival Square, Edinburgh EH3 9SR at 9.00 a.m. on 1 February 2023 (the "General Meeting") to consider and approve the Combination.

The Combined Document will shortly be submitted to the FCA's National Storage Mechanism (the "NSM") and will be available for inspection on the NSM's website at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism. The Combined Document will also be available on Capricorn's website at www.capricornenergy.com.
