Further modernization of HT Mostar's network

Vilim Primorac, CEO of HT Mostar, and Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, have signed a new contract worth MHRK 7.5, thus continuing a successful long-term cooperation between the companies.

The implementation of the latest technology version of the IP Multimedia Subsystem - IMS was contracted, which enables network functions virtualization. The contract also encompasses the upgrade of the network performance measurement system. Furthermore, a new Ericsson Diameter Signaling Controller solution, which represents a response to the growing IP communication between network elements of LTE core network, will be implemented. Nowadays, 130 service providers worldwide have already been using this solution in cloud centers to secure optimal coverage for LTE and VoLTE users. In addition, the introduction of the Steering of Roaming solution will enable an easier management of work with users in the roaming partners' networks. The activities on the realization of the contracted work start immediately, despite the challenging circumstances in the environment.

The realization of this contract will enable an easier and a more agile management and maintenance of the contracted solutions for HT Mostar, as well as the creation of new advanced services to the satisfaction of end-users.
