Aladdin Blockchain Technologies Ltd, London (“Aladdin”) the 100% subsidiary of Aladdin Blockchain Technologies Holding SE (“Aladdin SE”) today announces the appointment of Dr Amit Patel as its lead UK Healthcare Advisor.
Amit is Director of New Ventures at Bupa where he is responsible for incubating and scaling new innovative businesses. He has previously held senior roles at Bupa in Strategy and M&A, New Business Development and Digital Proposition & Product Development. Amit brings significant expertise in targeting and engaging with potential partners for collaboration. The appointment will add extensive UK market experience to the Aladdin team, driving its strategy for data collection and acquisition in the UK.
Prior to Bupa, Amit worked as a Strategy Consultant at LEK – a top-tier Strategy Consulting firm – advising Fortune 500 companies and private equity investors on growth strategy and M&A. Amit started his career in Medicine and trained as a Surgeon working in the NHS.
Bupa is an international healthcare group providing clinics, hospitals, aged care centres and health insurance, headquartered in London, serving c.30 million customers worldwide, with revenues of £12.2 billion in 2017.
