WATERSHARE+ CUSTOMER OFFER CLOSING DATE

The WaterShare+ Scheme Offer for eligible customers of South West Water, Bournemouth Water and Bristol Water will close at 5pm on 6 January 2023.

Background

Through South West Water's New Deal business plan (2020-25), we committed to share our success with customers through our pioneering WaterShare+ scheme. In 2020, we shared c.£20 million of outperformance from the previous regulatory period with South West Water and Bournemouth Water customers, through a choice of either a £20 reduction in their bill or through the ownership of shares in Pennon Group plc. We were delighted that one in 16 households in the region opted to become shareholders, giving them a greater stake in the business and the opportunity to share in our success, as investors do.

We have accelerated the second WaterShare+ scheme and are sharing c.£20 million outperformance in 2022/23. Customers of South West Water, Bournemouth Water and for the first time Bristol Water can choose a £13 bill reduction or for customers that meet the eligibility requirements ownership of a share in Pennon Group plc.
