**Venlo, the Netherlands, October 17, 2018.** **The cumulative consolidated revenues of SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE N.V., which became a member of Germany’s SDAX select index on September 24, 2018, grew significantly as planned over the first three quarters of the 2018 fiscal year (January 1 – September 30, 2018). According to preliminary figures, the company’s revenues rose by +104% to nearly EUR 389 million compared to EUR 191 million during the same period last year. This means SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE is once again Europe’s fastest-growing online pharmacy.**  

In the “Germany” segment – the company’s core market and its largest in terms of sales – SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE N.V., which was recently named “Online Retailer of the Year”, increased its 9-month-revenues by +120% year-on-year to EUR 301.8 million (previous year: EUR 137.5 million). Revenues for the “International” segment – covering operations in France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands – rose by +64% to around EUR 87 million during the period under review (2017: EUR 53 million).

The Management Board expects a significant increase in consolidated revenues during the fourth quarter 2018 based on both seasonal effects and the expansion of the product portfolio with high quality functional foods following the acquisition of Berlin-based nu3 GmbH in July 2018.

SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE will publish the final figures and complete the third quarter report on November 14, 2018.
