Direct Line Group IFRS 17 update

Direct Line Insurance Group plc (the "Group") has released presentation slides on its website on the implementation of IFRS 17 and how this will apply to the Group.

Neil Manser (CFO) will be hosting a call at 10.00am (GMT) to discuss the technical changes in relation to IFRS 17.  Slides and call details can be found on the Direct Line Group website. A replay of the call will be available in the afternoon.

IFRS 17 does not impact the economics of the Group or its dividend paying capacity. It will result in several presentational changes in the income statement and balance sheet which the Group believes should improve comparability between insurers and be beneficial for investors.
