TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SECURITIES
Close Brothers Group plc ("Close Brothers" or the "Group") announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 25p each on the London Stock Exchange. The purchased shares will be held in treasury.

This share purchase is pursuant to the Group's share purchase programme (the "Programme") effected under instructions issued to Link Asset Services by Close Brothers on 1 December 2022 and as announced on the same day.
Following the above transaction, Close Brothers holds 1,699,578 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 150,360,712 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
