Berlin, 20 December 2018. The Extraordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting of Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen- und Medizintechnik AG today approved the merger between Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen- und Medizintechnik AG as absorbing company with the Belgian Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG SA as absorbed company. The resolution has been taken with 99,95 % of the votes.
Change in the Supervisory Board
Dr Edgar Loeffler, medical physicist and former member of the Executive Board will join the Supervisory Board as of January1, 2019. Dr Loeffler has been elected as substitute member of the Supervisory Board by the Annual General Shareholder’s Meeting in May 2018. He will follow Dr. Gudrun Erzgraeber, radiobiologist, who is withdrawing from the Supervisory Board with effect from the end of December 2018. At the same date Hans-Joerg Hinke, who also steps down from the Supervisory Board, is to hand over his position to Jutta Ludwig. Jutta Ludwig, a Hamburg based China expert, will help expand the Group’s Asian business trough her expertise and network. The Supervisory Board and Executive Board thank both leaving members for their many years of service and their commitment to Eckert & Ziegler.
