RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES / TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

CRH plc announces that today, 30th September 2022, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 17,592 Ordinary Shares at prices of €24.24 and €27.86 per Ordinary Share and at prices of £20.11 and £24.51 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 22,654,270 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.  The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 751,486,068.

The above figure, 751,486,068 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, CRH plc under the Transparency (Directive 2004/109/EC) Regulations 2007 (as amended) and the Transparency Rules.
