Transaction in Own Shares

Speedy, the UK's leading provider of tools and equipment hire, and services to the construction, infrastructure and industrial markets, announces that, in accordance with the terms of its share buyback programme announced on 27 January 2022 as updated on 9 September 2022 (the "Share Buyback Programme"), the Company purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 5 pence each through Panmure Gordon (UK) Limited ("Panmure Gordon").

Lowest price paid per share (GBp):		38.45
Highest price paid per share (GBp):		41.10
Volume weighted average price paid per share (GBp):		39.69

The repurchased shares will be held in treasury. Following the settlement of the above transactions, the Company's total issued share capital will consist of 516,983,637 ordinary shares, of which 23,779,635 will be held in treasury. Therefore, the total voting rights in the Company will be 493,204,002. This figure for the total number of voting rights may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of the UK version of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 which is part of UK law by virtue of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, the table below contains detailed information of the individual trades made by Panmure Gordon as part of the Share Buyback Programme.
