AGM postponement to 2pm on Monday, 26 September 2022

Buckingham Palace has announced that the date of the state funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be Monday, 19 September 2022 and the UK Government has made the day a national bank holiday to allow the UK to mark her sad passing.

Babcock International Group PLC ("Babcock") was due to hold its Annual General Meeting ("AGM"), announced on 28 July 2022, on that date, but the Directors of Babcock have decided to postpone the AGM, following the exercise of their authority under Article 50 of Babcock's Articles of Association.

The AGM will now be held at the same venue, Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London W1K 7TN, at 2pm on Monday 26 September 2022.

Shareholders who have already voted or appointed a proxy need take no further action, as those votes and proxy appointments remain valid for the postponed AGM. 

For shareholders who have not yet voted or appointed a proxy, our Registrar must receive your vote by 2pm on Thursday, 22 September 2022 or, in the event the AGM is adjourned, not less than 48 hours (excluding non-working days) before the time fixed for the adjourned meeting. 

Further information on how to appoint a proxy is set out on pages 7 and 8 of the notice of AGM.  Voting by proxy prior to the AGM does not affect your right to attend the AGM and vote in person should you so wish.
