Varnavas Irinarchos - CV

Varnavas Irinarchos was born in Agros on 4 May 1958. He studied at the University of Stockholm from where he obtained a Business Administration Degree. He also holds a Post-Graduate Degree in Computer Science from the same University. He began his professional career in 1983 as the manager and later shareholder in a company specialised in the sale of IT products. In 1987 he established Logicom Public Limited of which he is the Vice Chairman and Managing Director. Logicom has become an international group of companies, whose securities are listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange and are part of the FTSE/CySE20 Index. The Group's turnover in 2017 rose to €855 million. It employs more than 840 professionals and serves more than 10,000 clients through its wholly owned subsidiaries in Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Germany, Romania, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar and Oman, as well as through sales offices in Bahrain, Malta and South Africa. The Group's operations include the distribution of technology and communications products and solutions, the provision of integrated IT, software, networking and telecom solutions and the execution of large infrastructure projects in the sector of desalination.
