Peter Thostrup resigns as Executive Vice President in Bang & Olufsen a/s as of 30 September 2008

As a consequence of accepting a position outside the company Peter Thostrup has resigned his position as Executive Vice President in Bang & Olufsen a/s as of 30 September 2008.

The Board of Directors expects to announce the name of the future Chief Executive Officer in April. The next 6 months until Peter Thostrup leaves will therefore be used for the planned transition of the business according to an agreement, which the Board of Directors made with Peter Thostrup in January when it was decided that he should function as temporary Chief Executive Officer.

The future composition of the Board of Management will be decided later in consultation with the new Chief Executive Officer.
