Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 3 3/7 US cents on the London Stock Exchange as part of its US$125 million share buyback programme announced on 30 June 2022.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury. Following the purchase and settlement of these shares, the Company will hold 104,356,019 of its ordinary shares in treasury and will have 1,310,416,725 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 10,954,341 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 249.9047 pence per share.

The Company notes, for clarification and transparency, that, on 13 July 2022, under the share buyback programme described above, J. P. Morgan Securities plc (JPM) repurchased shares in the Company in an amount equal to 25.05% of the average daily volume of the Company's shares traded on the London Stock Exchange.  The subsequent repurchase of those shares from JPM by the Company, as required under the terms of the share buyback programme, therefore resulted in an inadvertent breach of the volume trading limit under the applicable market abuse regulation safe harbour for share buybacks. 

All transactions under this programme will be published on the Company's website (www.man.com) on a weekly basis.
