Transaction in own shares

The Company announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the capital of the Company (the "Shares") through Numis Securities Limited. Following the announcement of the share buyback Programme on 4 July 2022, the purchase concludes this Programme.

Date of purchase:  11 July 2022

Number of Shares purchased:  2,300,000 (two million, three hundred thousand) Shares

Highest price paid per Share:  260 pence / Lowest price paid per Share:  260 pence

Average price paid per Share: 260 pence

The Company intends to hold these Shares in Treasury. Including Shares which have been purchased but not yet settled, the Company holds 2,359,587 Shares in Treasury.

Following the above purchase, the total number of Shares in issue is 44,028,928 (excluding Shares held in Treasury). This number represents the total voting rights in the Company and may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
