CAPRICORN ENERGY PLC ("Capricorn" or "the Company")

TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SHARES

Capricorn Energy PLC (the "Company") announces that, on 4 July 2022, it purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 21/13 pence each (the "Ordinary Shares") on the London Stock Exchange through J.P. Morgan Securities plc. Such purchase was effected pursuant to the instructions issued by the Company in accordance with the non-discretionary share repurchase arrangements entered into with J.P. Morgan Securities plc, as announced on 7 April 2022.

Highest price paid per share:	215.20 pence
Average price paid per share:	212.48 pence

Since 24 June 2022, the Company has purchased and not yet cancelled (and therefore, for the purposes of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, has an interest in) 80,241 Ordinary Shares. The Company intends to cancel the purchased Ordinary Shares.

Since 7 April 2022, the Company has purchased 9,362,899 shares at a cost (including dealing and associated costs) of £18,731,053.23.
