FLSmidth signs supplementary order with Russian customer

FLSmidth has signed a contract with OOO Kurskaya stroitelnaya companiya for supplementary equipment weighing in at more than 8,000 tonnes for the cement plant FLSmidth signed contract for in the beginning of 2008 (see Company Announcement no. 1-2008).

Valued at approximately 40m euro (DKK 300m), the contract is for additional machinery parts, ducts, pipes, bricks and insulation for the machines being supplied by FLSmidth to the plant.

Delivery of the equipment will start in the first half of 2009 and will be completed during 2010 and the contract will therefore contribute beneficially to FLSmidth's earnings until 2010.

"We are happy that the customer has chosen to buy this supplementary equipment with FLSmidth. We largely contribute this order to the good relationship we have build with the customer over the initial order," Group CEO Jørgen Huno Rasmussen comments.
