Candidates for the Supervisory Board - Spar Nord Bank A/S

Having consulted the chairmen of Spar Nord's regional bank committees, the Supervisory Board of Spar Nord Bank A/S has decided to nominate the following candidates for election to the Supervisory Board at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 29 April:

• Per Nikolaj Bukh, Professor (re-election)
• Per Søndergaard Pedersen, Man. Director (re-election)
• Hans Østergaard, State-authorized Public Accountant (new election)

The nomination of Hans Østergaard should be viewed in light of the Supervisory Board's decision to set up an audit committee composed of three members. With more than 30 years' experience in the finance and audit businesses, Hans Østergaard is considered to have the right professional qualifications, while being independent of special interests as required by law.

At the Annual General Meeting, the incumbent deputy chairman, Erling Kjær, real-estate agent, will step down from the Supervisory Board.
