Louis plc: Purchase of Cruise Ship Costa neoRomantica

Nicosia, August 21, 2020

Following the announcement of 16th July 2020, Louis Plc confirms that Celestyal Cruises took delivery on 21st August 2020 in Piraeus of the recently acquired cruise ship Costa neoRomantica, the ownership of which was transferred to a 100% subsidiary of Louis plc.

As has already been announced, the new cruise ship has been purchased on favourable terms. The investment in Costa neoRomantica in relative terms, if compared to both Louis plc total assets and total fixed assets, is not considered to be a material addition as it does not substantially affect the consolidated statement of financial position of Louis plc.

Furthermore, it is noted that due to the prevailing market conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the cruise ship will not be operating this year and consequently it is not expected to have any significant impact on the financial results of 2020.
