Press Release of the Belimo Group

Change in the Group Executive Committee of the Belimo Group

Peter Schmidlin, Chief Innovation Officer (CINO) and Head of Group Division Innovation, leaves the Group Executive Committee of the Belimo Group by mutual agreement with immediate effect. He takes on the functional responsibility of an important long-term platform project within the Group Division Innovation as a new challenge.

Peter Schmidlin has been employed by Belimo in various positions since May 1988. He was Head of Group Division Innovation since 2008 and was appointed Chief Innovation Officer (CINO) in July 2015. In these positions, Peter Schmidlin has shaped the Group Division Innovation, as well as the range of products with strong commitment and long-term vision and contributed significantly to the success of Belimo.

The Board of Directors will inform about the succession in due course. Louis Scheidegger, Head of Group Division Production, will head the Group Division Innovation ad interim.

The Board of Directors thanks Peter Schmidlin for his many years of contribution to the Group Executive Committee and wishes him every success and fulfillment in his new challenge.
