The companies, Lordos United Plastics Public Ltd and PCC Cy-Pellets Recycling Ltd, signed today, Monday 28 th of June 2021, an agreement for co-production, in Cyprus, of regenerated raw material for the production of new recyclable plastics.
More specifically, Lordos United Plastics Public Ltd will take over the management of the plastic scrap recycling plant, located in the Industrial Area of Agios Sylas Limassol, owned by PCC Cy-Pellets Recycling Ltd, member of the POULLAIDIS group of companies.
The annual production capacity of the recycling plant is able to serve the annual needs of Lordos United Plastics Public Ltd.
This business deal is part of the new strategic plan of Lordos United Plastics Public Ltd which envisages until 2025 to leave a zero footprint on the environmental burden in Cyprus.
Recyclable products such as LORDOS ECO BAGS, already on the market, are the answer to the judicious use of the plastic products.
The PCC Cy-Pellets Recycling Ltd factory is the first real plastic recycling factory in Cyprus. The cooperation between the two Cypriot Industries will help in the development of environmental protection systems which is a special asset, especially for Cyprus.
