27 September 2021
Further to our announcement of 23 September 2021, we would like to clarify the following:
(a) The Group was carrying out maritime cargo transport operations with the RO RO type ALEXO and AKRITAS vessels and the container type ALASA vessel. Following the purchase of the RO RO type VASSILIOS vessel in June 2021 and the sale of ALEXO, the Group will continue to engage in maritime cargo transport with the vessels VASSILIOS, AKRITAS and ALASA. The sale of the said vessel is part of the renewal and upgrading of the Group's fleet with younger vessels, i.e. the replacement of ALEXO with the younger vessel VASSILIOS.
(b) The sale does not pertain to neither a company nor a business activity, but to an asset.
(c) The sale price is \$3,479,000. Regarding the mode of payment of the price, an advance payment of 20% has been received. The remainder will be collected on the conclusion of the agreement with the delivery of the vessel.
(d) The profit from the sale is estimated at approximately €1,000,000 and arises from the difference between the sale price and the net book value of ALEXO.
(e)The counterparty is the company Marfat Maritime Corp., having its seat in Panama.
(f) No significant impact on the Group's prospects is expected, as there is no change in the Group's operations.
