STEMMER IMAGING: General Meeting approves all items on the agenda
Puchheim, June 22, 2020 – STEMMER IMAGING AG, which is listed in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (ISIN DE000A2G9MZ9 / WKN A2G9MZ), today held its first virtual Annual General Meeting – due to the corona crisis. The shareholders approved all the resolutions proposed by the company’s management with significant majorities. The actions of the Management Board and Supervisory Board were approved by 97.8 percent respectively by 90.0 percent for the short fiscal year 2019. The number of votes represented was at 82.9 percent.
In his speech, CEO Arne Dehn commented in detail on how the business developed during the short fiscal year 2019 and gave an assessment of the current challenging market environment: “We have been able to take the momentum of organic growth of last year with us into the difficult market environment of 2020. Machine Vision as an enabler for the megatrend of digitization will continue to be a key technology in the future. We therefore believe we are well positioned to take advantage of opportunities in the current environment. Despite our solid financial position, measures to limit risks remain in focus.”
The detailed voting results for the individual items on the agenda of the Annual General Meeting will be published on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at www.stemmer-imaging.com/Hauptversammlung .
The company will report on the current financial year and the results of the first half of 2020 with the publication of the half-year figures on August 12, 2020. On this occasion, STEMMER IMAGING will also comment on the full-year forecast.
