The public companies Cyprus Trading Corporation Plc, Ermes Department Stores Plc and Woolworth (Cyprus) Properties Plc announce that the publication of the audited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2020, scheduled to be made in May 2022, and the subsequent publication of the half-yearly financial reports for the period ended 30.06.2021, are postponed
As already announced by the Companies with an announcement to the CSE on 31 March 2022, the important and complex accounting calculations, which are required to provide an accurate and fair view of the financial statements of the Companies, have not been completed yet.
To this end, the Boards of Directors and the Management of the Companies continue to cooperate closely with their external auditors to finalise pending matters the soonest and expect to complete and announce their audited accounts by the end of September 2022.
It is understood that, following the publication of the audited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2020 as well as the half-yearly financial statements for the period ended 30.06.2021, the Companies will be in a position to make a relevant announcement for the submission of their Annual Financial Report for the year ended 31 December 2021.
