Bergisch Gladbach, 18 September 2020 – It all began in 1945 with the construction of refrigeration plants in a former laundry room. 75 years later, Schuster Klima Lüftung GmbH & Co. KG is one of the leading Bavarian companies in the field of air conditioning and ventilation technology and delivers everything from a single source: A high level of technical know-how, in-house production, our own assembly and refrigeration department including state-of-the-art logistics and a service and maintenance service that is available around the clock. Around 80 employees ensure that the company can handle projects of any size in all areas efficiently and at the highest level of quality. Well over 10,000 construction projects have been realized in the past 75 years, around 80 percent of them in the public sector.
Clean energy thanks to innovative technology – this guiding principle is top priority at Schuster. Modern air conditioning and ventilation systems can now recover up to 80 percent of the energy from used exhaust air and use it again. The aim is to further increase the efficiency of the exhaust air through various processes in order to be able to completely dispense with fossil energy in the near future. The company headquarters in Friedberg also follows the motto: The zero-energy building generates more energy than is consumed. This not only reduces energy costs to a minimum, but also reduces environmental pollution. “Schuster sets a good example when it comes to sustainability, this is how the sustainable guiding principle is effectively implemented in the company”, explains Dr. Johannes Schmidt, Chairman of the Board of the INDUS Group. The signs of the times are recognizing more and more builders and property owners and are therefore upgrading their air conditioning and ventilation systems. The future prospects are green – both for the environment and for Schuster.
