British Smaller Companies VCT plc ("the Company")

Interim Dividend

The directors are pleased to announce the payment of an interim dividend for the year ending 31 March 2023 of 2.0 pence per ordinary share ("Interim Dividend").

The Interim Dividend will be paid on 12 July 2022 to those shareholders on the Company's register at the close of business on 10 June 2022. The ex-dividend date will be 9 June 2022. The Interim Dividend will reduce the net asset value per Ordinary Share by 2.0 pence per ordinary share.

The Company operates a dividend re-investment scheme ("DRIS"). The latest date for receipt of new or updated DRIS elections in respect of the Interim Dividend is the close of business on 24 June 2022.
