Purchase of Shares by the Employee Benefit Trust

The Company announces that Computershare Trustees (Jersey) Limited will acquire a total of 24,850,000 ordinary shares in Hammerson commencing on 18 May 2022. The total number of shares will be acquired over a period of days so as to not unduly impact the share price.

These shares will be settled to Computershare Trustees (Jersey) Limited being the trustees of the Hammerson Employee Share Ownership Plan. The shares will be used to satisfy the exercise and release of options and awards granted to employees under the Company's various employee share plans.
