COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT NO 30/2012 – 13 JUNE 2012

Material condition for exercise of option to acquire building rights for 37,500 square metres relating to Royal Unibrew's brewery site in Aarhus has now been met.

VIA University College has informed today that the Finance Committee approved the document concerning the VIA University College project on the brewery site in Aarhus. The exercise of the option remains conditional on depositing of the purchase price and registration in the Land Register of the documents required for the transaction. The conditional exercise is effected as part of the option agreement entered into in March 2011 (see Company Announcement No 1/2011 of 4 March 2011).

If relevant, Royal Unibrew's sale of the building rights for 37,500 square metres will be realisable in Q3 2012 and is expected to have a net cash flow effect after tax of approx DKK 110 million to Royal Unibrew A/S. The sale, if any, will be effected at the carrying amount of the building rights, and therefore the transfer will not affect the Compa‐ ny's profit or equity.

In connection with the conditional option to acquire building rights for 37,500 square metres relating to VIA University College, A. Enggaard A/S, Entreprenør- og Byggefirma has been granted an option to acquire, out of the remaining building rights, rights for another 5,000 square metres on similar terms in the period to 31 December 2014.

Yours sincerely Royal Unibrew A/S
