Demetra Holdings Plc wishes to inform investors that, pursuant to Section 146 of the Constitution, it has filed to the Administrative Court Recourse No. 549/2024 against the legality of the decision of the Commission for the Protection of Competition, taken at its meeting of 2 February 2024, by which the Commission declared, by majority vote, that the concentration relating to the acquisition of share capital of Hellenic Bank Public Company Limited by Eurobank S.A. is compatible with the functioning of competition in the market.
With the Recourse we seek the issuance of a decision of the Administrative Court that the aforesaid decision of the Commission for the Protection of Competition is void, illegal and devoid of any legal effect.
