Director Declaration

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14, Chemring Group PLC (the "Company") announces that Carl-Peter Forster, Chairman of the Company, will take up a new appointment as a non-executive director and Chairman designate of Vesuvius plc with effect from 1 November 2022. He will assume the position of Chairman of Vesuvius plc with effect from 1 December 2022.

In advance of joining the Vesuvius plc Board, Carl-Peter will step down from his Chairmanship of Hella KGaA and a number of board positions in smaller non-UK based companies. He will continue as Chairman of the Company and as Senior Independent Director at Babcock International Group plc.
