Spar Nord comments on media articles about Spar Nord and FIH Erhvervsbank

With reference to articles today in Danish newspapers Berlingske Tidende and Børsen about an on-going sales process in FIH Erhvervsbank A/S ("FIH"), Spar Nord hereby confirms that the bank has expressed its interest in acquiring parts of FIH.

The expressed interest should be viewed in the light of Spar Nord's strategy of growing its market position in the corporate segment.

Spar Nord has no further comments at the present time.
