Purchase of own shares
M&G plc (the "Company") announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 5 pence each through Goldman Sachs International on the London Stock Exchange in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 26 May 2021 (the "Purchase"). The Purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by M&G on 23 March 2022, as announced on 24 March 2022.

The Company intends to cancel the purchased shares.
