£50m Share buyback programme - management of the buyback programme

within the Closed Period

On 7 December 2021 Paragon Banking Group PLC (the "Company") announced a share buyback programme of up to £50m (the "buyback programme").  

In advance of the publication of its half-year results on 14 June 2022, the Company's Closed Period will commence on 1 April 2022.  The Company has today issued an irrevocable instruction to Jefferies International Limited ("Jefferies") to continue to operate the buyback programme during the Closed Period.  Jefferies will operate the buyback programme autonomously during the Closed Period and are expected to complete their instruction before the end of the Closed Period.
