Moody's withdraws PJSC Polyus credit rating 

PJSC Polyus (LSE, MOEX: PLZL) ("Polyus", or the "Company") notes that Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") has withdrawn the Company's credit rating on 31 March 2022  (together with all associated inputs to rating services such as Baseline Credit Assessments and Counterparty Risk Assessments) as well as credit ratings of multiple Russian entities.

On 5 March 2022, Moody's announced the suspension of commercial operations in Russia.

Polyus

Polyus is the world's fourth-largest gold mining company by production volumes and the largest gold miner in terms of attributable gold ore reserves. The Company has the lowest production costs among major global gold producers. Its principal operations are located in Siberia and the Russian Far East: Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk and Magadan regions and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
