A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S – Registration of capital increase in connection with
issuance of bonus shares completed

In continuation of announcement of 27 February 2014 regarding issuance of bonus
shares it is hereby confirmed that today the capital increase of nominally DKK
17,582,400,000 has been registered with the Danish Business Authority.

The capital increase is divided into 8,791,200 new A shares of nominally DKK
1,000 and 8,791,200 new B shares of nominally DKK 1,000.

After registration of the new shares, A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S’ share capital
amounts to nominally DKK 21,978,000,000 divided into:

A shares of DKK 1,000 10,988,828 shares

A shares of DKK 500 344 shares

B shares of DKK 1,000 10,988,889 shares

B shares of DKK 500 222 shares

Each A share amount of DKK 500 carries one vote at the Company’s General
Meetings. B shares do not carry votes.

Application has been made for admission of the new shares to trading and
official listing on NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen A/S with effect as of 4 April 2014
under the same ISIN codes as the Company’s existing shares.
