Burberry Group plc (the "Company") - Director/PDMR Shareholdings

As announced on 20 October 2021, as part of his appointment, Jonathan Akeroyd, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, is to receive share awards to compensate for incentives from his former employer that he forfeited on joining the Company. Accordingly, the Company announces that conditional share awards over Ordinary Shares of 0.05p each ("Shares") in the Company were granted on 15 March 2022 to Jonathan Akeroyd, as detailed below (the "Buy-Out Awards"):

The number of Shares comprised in the Buy-out Awards was determined by reference to the Company's share price at the time of Jonathan's appointment. The Buy-Out Awards are subject to continued employment, and in respect of the performance-based award, a performance condition relating to the performance of Jonathan's former employer, Capri Holdings Limited.

All Buy-out Awards have been made in line with the Company's Remuneration Policy, which is set out in full in the FY 2019/20 Directors' Remuneration Report.

Full details of the Buy-Out Awards, including details of the performance condition and information as required by FCA Listing Rule 9.4.3, will be set out in the Company's FY 2021/22 Directors' Remuneration Report.
