Announcement of First Interim Dividend
The Board has today declared a first interim dividend in respect of the year ending 31 July 2022 of 3.2p net (2021: n/a) which will be payable on 21 March 2022 to Ordinary shareholders on the register on 25 February 2022, ex dividend date 24 February 2022.
In accordance with the enhanced dividend policy approved by shareholders at the General Meeting held on 27 January 2022, the Board has set a target dividend of 6.4p per Ordinary Share for the financial year ending 31 July 2022 (adjusted for the 5 for 1 share split that occurred on 4 February 2022) (2021 equivalent full year dividend 3.2p after adjustment for 5 for 1 share split). The 3.2p dividend declared today represents the first two quarterly dividends for the initial six month period to 31 January 2022 and the Board expects to declare 1.6p per Ordinary share per quarter for the remainder of the Company's financial year.
