AVI Global Trust plc (the "Company")

Cancellation of Treasury Shares

The Company has 73,338,375 of its own ordinary shares held as treasury shares, out of a total of 580,015,665 shares in issue.

The Company's Board elected on 8 February 2022 to reduce the number of shares in treasury to approximately 9% of the current shares in circulation (excluding treasury shares), by cancelling 27,737,419 of the shares held in treasury. Following this cancellation, the Company will have 552,278,246 shares in issue and 45,600,956 shares in treasury. The number of shares in circulation and total voting rights of the Company remain unchanged at 506,677,290 shares.

There is no change in the Company's net asset value per share as a result of this action.
