CAPRICORN ENERGY PLC ("Capricorn" or "the Company")

TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SHARES

Capricorn announces that, on 17 January 2022, it purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of ²¹/¹³ pence each (the "Ordinary Shares") on the London Stock Exchange from Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc ("Morgan Stanley"). Such purchase was effected pursuant to the instructions issued by the Company in accordance with the non-discretionary share repurchase arrangements entered into with Morgan Stanley, as announced on 15 November 2021.

The Company intends to cancel the purchased Ordinary Shares.

Since 15 November 2021, the Company has purchased 3,681,724 shares at a cost (including dealing and associated costs) of £6,937,979.21.
