NOTICE OF EARLY REDEMPTION

£300,000,000 7.037 per cent. Step-up Callable Perpetual Reserve Capital Instruments (ISIN: XS0124569566) (the "RCIs")

Further to the announcement made on 24 December 2021 confirming the Issuer's intention to redeem the RCIs, the Issuer announces that it has today given notice to the holders of the RCIs that all of the outstanding RCIs will be redeemed on the next Coupon Payment Date, being 14 February 2022.

Capitalised terms used, but not defined, in this notice shall have the meanings given to them in the terms and conditions applicable to the RCIs.
