CAPRICORN ENERGY PLC ("Capricorn" or "the Company")

TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SHARES

Capricorn announces that, on 31 December 2021, it purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of ²¹/¹³ pence each (the "Ordinary Shares") on the London Stock Exchange from Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc ("Morgan Stanley"). Such purchase was effected pursuant to the instructions issued by the Company in accordance with the non-discretionary share repurchase arrangements entered into with Morgan Stanley, as announced on 15 November 2021.

Since 15 November 2021, the Company has purchased 2,666,227 shares at a cost (including dealing and associated costs) of £4,958,679.35.
