Second Interim Dividend

IEM's recent practice has been to make two distributions per year and to pay both of these by way of interim dividends. Through the current financial year the Company has continued to issue new shares to meet investor demand and, with an expanding shareholder base, the Directors of IEM seek to ensure that the dividends which relate to one financial year accrue, so far as is possible, to the shareholders who have been on the register for that year. To this end, the Company has of late been declaring its second interim dividend close to the end of its financial year.

The Board of IEM is pleased to declare a second interim dividend for the year ending 31st December 2021 of 1.5 pence per Ordinary Share (2020: 1 penny), payable on 28 January 2022 to shareholders who appear on the register on 7 January 2022, with an ex-dividend date of 6 January 2022. 

This equates to a total dividend for the 2021 financial year of 2.8 pence per Ordinary Share (2020: 2.3 pence). It remains the Board's intention to pay out substantially all earnings by way of dividends, the quantum of which is affected both by the level of dividends received by the Company and by the number of shares in issue at the relevant record date.
