SUSS MicroTec appoints fifth member of the Supervisory Board

Garching, March 14, 2022 – SUSS MicroTec today announced the appointment of Prof. Dr. Mirja Steinkamp to the Supervisory Board of SÜSS MicroTec SE as of March 10, 2022. With the appointment of Prof. Dr. Steinkamp, the company’s Supervisory Board again consists of five members and is therefore fully staffed in accordance with the Articles of Association.
Mirja Steinkamp also assumes the role of the first financial expert and becomes Chairwoman of the Audit Committee. She succeeds Dr. Dietmar Meister, who resigned from his position, effective March 1, 2022.
Mirja Steinkamp is a tax consultant, certified public accountant and professor for auditing and corporate accounting at the NORDAKADEMIE University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg/Elmshorn. For several years she worked as an audit manager for the international auditing company Ernst & Young GmbH and then for 14 years as an authorized signatory and manager at a global trading company. Mirja Steinkamp has many years of experience as chair of the audit committee and as deputy chair of the supervisory board of listed and unlisted companies. In 2019, Mirja Steinkamp was appointed to the examination board for auditors for five years. She has been a lecturer at Interfin Forum GmbH since 2022, which offers the courses “Qualified Member of the Supervisory Board” and “Member of the Audit Committee/Financial Expert”.
