Garching, June 14, 2023 – At today’s meeting, the Supervisory Board of SÜSS MicroTec SE appointed Burkhardt Frick as a member of the Management Board and the new Chief Executive Officer of the Company as of September 11, 2023. Frick has been active in the high-tech industry for more than 30 years, having spent around 20 years working in Philips’ mobile display and semiconductor business and joining the leading global semiconductor equipment manufacturer ASML in 2014. There, as the Vice President of Corporate Marketing, he supports the Management Board with the long-term product and market strategy, among other things. Burkhardt Frick’s contract has an initial term of three years. Frick succeeds Dr. Bernd Schulte, who will return as planned to the Company’s Supervisory Board as of September 11, 2023.
