RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR AND UPDATE ON GENERAL MEETING

1414 Degrees Limited ( Company ) (ASX:14D) wishes to provide an update to the market further to its announcement on Friday 16 July 2021 in which the Board advised that it had resolved to convene a general meeting of members ( General Meeting ) in response to a notice provided by Dr Kevin Moriarty to the Company.

The Company now advises that Dr Moriarty has resigned as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

Dr Moriarty has also withdrawn the notice he previously provided to the Company which purported to convene a general meeting of members to consider the removal of certain existing directors of the Company and the appointment of new directors.

In light of the withdrawal of the notice and Dr Moriarty's resignation as a director, the Company confirms that it no longer intends to convene the General Meeting.

The Board acknowledges Dr Moriarty’s significant contribution to the Company over many years as an executive and director and wishes Dr Moriarty the very best for the future.

The Board is now looking forward to the commencement of the Company's new chief executive officer Matt Squire, who commences full time duties on Monday 2 August 2021.

ABOUT 1414 DEGREES LIMITED

1414 Degrees is developing and commercialising its silicon-based thermal energy storage technology, SiBox™, to enable a clean energy future. Once ready for commercialisation, the AEP site will allow 14D to pilot and demonstrate a grid-scale version of the SiBox™ technology.
