Completion of first phase of share buyback programme

Pennon Group plc announces completion of the first phase of of its share buyback programme, announced on 23 July 2021.

Over the course of this first phase of the share buyback programme, 4,718,932 ordinary shares of 61.05 pence each were purchased by Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc and on-sold to Pennon.

All of the shares repurchased in this phase of the share buyback programme have been, or will be cancelled, prior to 30 September 2021.

Further execution phases of the programme will be announced in due course.
